Happy Father's Day

Although Tommy and I are away this weekend in Chicago, we wanted to wish Tommy's Daddy a very Happy First Father's Day! We love and miss you but know you are enjoying your time out on the golf course without worrying about rushing to get home by a certain time! Tommy had a message for you that he asked me to type up while he is napping:

Dear Daddy:

Thanks for all that you do for me, like changing my diaper first thing in the morning and getting me dressed for school. And then changing me again before I leave for school because I pooped! Thank you for teaching me to throw a ball at such a young age...I hope it pays off when I grow up! Thank you for always making me laugh...I mean, I'm pretty easy when it comes to laughing so you don't have to try that hard making such a fool of yourself. But I will laugh harder when you do! Thanks for dropping me off most days at school. Even though I get upset sometimes now when you leave, I really do enjoy my time with my friends and teachers. But most of all, thanks for just loving me and taking care of me these past 9 months and then some. You are the best daddy I could ever have!

P.S. Mommy said she will blog about our trip to see Oma, Opa, Aunt Maria, Uncle Craig, Uncle Bryan and cousins Julia and Ethan when we get home. And I met a cute girl named Cora...hubba hubba!
