First time on the Rides!

My mom, Aunt Denise, niece Alexis, Tommy and I went to the boardwalk in Point Pleasant on Friday, July 30th. Tommy went on his first rides ever - the carousel and the train. We tried to go on the fire engine, but he was too small, even with me going with him.

He wanted NO part of sitting on the horse on the carousel!


So we sat on a bench seat with him - notice his RUTGERS R shirt - must mean football season will be soon upon us!

Mommy made him pose almost sitting on the horse after the ride was over. Tommy was not happy.

Tommy did like the train much better! We got to sit right behind the conductor!

Before we went on the rides and played some games on the boardwalk, we had dinner at Jenkinson's Pavilion. Tommy spit carrots all over me, as his new thing is giving raspberries the second I put a spoonful of food in his mouth. We tried to get it on video, but it didn't come out that well, and of course, he didn't do it once the camera was on. Stinker. I did win him a monkey in a banana by inflating the balloon with the water gun faster than anyone else! And then Alexis won the next game, selecting a dolphin for herself! (And if we had been playing against other players besides one another, we would have had our choice of medium or large size prizes, but everyone was afraid to take us on because they could tell we were sharp shooters!)
