All Suited Up

We got another 8 inches of snow and Tommy's daycare was closed, so we ventured outside with the sled again (though Mommy got a nice amount of work done on her laptop that she brought home thinking that would actually prevent a snow day!). My sister picked up a snowsuit for Tommy in a size 2T at a ski shop in the Poconos that was on clearance, since we didn't have one small enough to fit him. They ski all winter since her mother-in-law lives up there. Well, the suit is still a little big for him, but we rolled the pants up and made it work. Except...no boots! We tried and tried to get the boots I picked up months ago at Bass onto Tommy's feet, but to no avail. We just put his sneakers on since we were strapping him into the sled anyway. I did order 2 pairs of boots from Land's End that were on sale and I also got another 20% off. One pair I ordered hoping we can use them next year as they are a size 6, and right now he's still only a size 4. But of course they haven't arrived yet!

Honestly, putting him in the snowsuit, which are actually snowboarding pants (who knew folks that wore size 2T went snowboarding?), was kind of silly since we knew he wasn't going to run around in the snow. But he looked pretty cute all the same, don't you think? Well, once we got him suited up that is! Someone would prefer his birthday suit I think!

Someone thought he could hide from us and not have to get dressed

I wonder if the real snowboarders would think the rolled pants are or fly...or phat...whatever the word kids use today to say "cool."

Thankful to be in snowpants and NOT wrapped in the blanket Mommy embarrassed him with the other day!

Faster, Daddy, Faster!!!

Checking out the snow...

...which swallowed up someone's mitten, though that did not stop Tommy from digging in!
