Tommy discovered the laundry basket is also a fun item at just the right height to be able to climb into - after he saw Tails jump in it recently. And he also likes when one of us pushes him around in it, as I had been doing just before this shot was taken:
What was previously a magazine holder and now a holder of blocks (which are scattered on the floor in the pic below), can also hold the Tomster when he climbs in.
Climbing up on chairs, couches, and whatever else this little boy sees....this chair is now on our front stoop, and every day when we get home, Tommy LOVES to go to the mailbox and get the mail with me. We then walk/run back to the house, and he has to go over to the front door to see if Tails is at the window, and then he climbs on this chair. He's pretty good at getting down from the chair and couch now too.
I know I've mentioned Tommy's obsession with anything round or ball like. We practically have our own ball pit in the living room with all the balls he has. Many of them end up under our couch, and we have to use the swiffer to get them out. Tommy will often go get the swiffer and bring it to me, and point to the living room so I'll retrieve the balls that are under there for him. Or sometimes he'll take the swiffer and start swiffering the floors (he's seen me do this). While he does make a mess with his toys like most kids will, I have to say, he's a very good cleaner upper...even the teachers at school have commented on his desire to put things back in their place.
And to end, here is just a cute picture of the happiest kid around. He is clapping at the parade last week that we went to. And you know how most kids hate to wear hats? This little guy seems not to mind. If it falls off or he takes it off, he brings it over to you to have you put it back on.
