Backyard Shenanigans

Tommy and I drove my mom back to Bayonne on Sunday afternoon, and I have a feeling Tommy will look forward to trips to Grandma and Pop-Pop's house even more than he already did.  He would always get excited when we'd ask him if he wanted to see Em and Fin, Uncle Dave, Aunt Cindy, Grandma and Pop-Pop...well, after the fun he had in the backyard on Sunday afternoon, he'll be asking to go there instead of the park every day!

My brother ordered a bounce house for the yard for his 2 kids last week, and while Tommy was a little hesitant at first to go inside, he quickly changed his mind.  They also have a big inflatable ball that they call "the giggle ball."  I'm not sure if that's what it is really called or if it's named that because my niece Emily just giggles non-stop when she is inside it being pushed around!  And of course, what afternoon would be complete without the slide and fun with bubbles?  And discovering a bicycle for the first time?

After dinner and a bath we headed back home, and Tommy fell asleep in the car on cue since it was bedtime.  Although he woke up going in the house, he fell back asleep pretty quickly and must have been exhausted because he barely moved all night in his crib!
