We attended the wedding of a good friend of mine (and former colleague) this past Saturday - we call him Nemo, which is a nickname based on his last name, but his real name is Bryan. He is an AMAZING guy, who married an amazing girl, Stephanie. I picked my mom up on Friday for the weekend as she was watching Tommy for us while we were at the wedding...thank goodness we were not paying a babysitter because it took us THREE hours to get home from the wedding - and we took a car service with 2 other couples! Friends who had an almost two hour drive home were home before us! It was just a comedy of errors and bad luck, but we did make it home safe and sound. We knew this was going to be a huge party, and did the responsible thing and planned ahead for the car service. Next time we may be drawing straws to see who will be the designated driver after the endless car ride home!
But the wedding - it was so beautiful, and the reception was awesome. We had three tables of Nemo's friends from Athletics, and there was actually a huge Rutgers presence since he graduated from there as well and had a ton of his friends in attendance, plus his current colleagues since he's now in another area of the University (smart guy - he no longer works weekends or nights at games like me!).

Today at work we rehashed so much of what happened, and applauded those who told us they never dance but were out on the dance floor all night with those of us known for impromptu dance parties in the office. We laughed so hard, and really had so much fun. Congrats to Nemo and Steph!
