Both Tommy and I shed some tears in recent days as we said good-bye to his bouncy seat and Jumparoo, which we used quite often during Tommy's infant days. I posted both items as well as a few others on Craig's List as well as on a personals listserve at work to try to sell them. So far, they are the only 2 items to sell, so I'll probably end up bringing the rest to a local consignment shop to try to sell. And it was a co-worker in my building who ended up buying them, as her daughter is visiting from Australia for several weeks with her first grandson, and she needed these items.
My tears were because I can't believe Tommy is no longer this little:
But he's now this BIG:
How is it possible that his feet hang off one end and his head is peeking over the top? Tommy had to sit in the seat when we pulled it up from the basement to put in my car. And he was yelling "MINE" as John brought both items out to the garage to put in my car.

Seriously, where did that little baby go??? I love the little boy he's become, but I miss my tiny little stinker too!
That second picture made me laugh. They do grow way too fast don't they? I know the day we have to sell E's baby stuff I will be in tears!
ReplyDeleteThe breaks my heart...I can't believe those pictures! He is such a big boy! Can't wait to see you guys in a couple of weeks! xoxo
