Tommy woke up a very happy baby on Friday, September 10th, officially one years old! We sent him off to school so that Oma Cathy, Aunt Maria, and Mommy could get manis/pedis to look pretty for Tommy's birthday party!

Sporting his "Baby's First Birthday" onesie (minus any bottoms since the boy is like clockwork and always gives us a poop shortly after we change him in the mornings, so we wait to fully dress him!)Tommy's daycare hosted a grandparents' tea that afternoon in honor of Grandparents' Day. It was great that this happened on Tommy's birthday weekend so Oma Cathy and Opa Chris could attend. They got their hands painted red and made a handprint on paper as part of a special project, so we look forward to seeing what that is!

Miss Heather snuck in from the Baby Buds room to wish her boyfriend Tommy a Happy Birthday! He was so excited to see her!
Whenever John's parents come to visit, we always take them to Squan Tavern since they can't get an antipasta salad in Charleston, IL like we can serve it here in New Jersey! Tommy ate his dinner at the house beforehand, but he did join us since it technically was HIS birthday dinner!
