While we waited for the guys to get back from golfing, the puppies were a great source of entertainment for Tommy. However, even they needed a rest from chasing balls in the Arizona heat, so Tommy entertained himself with....ROCKS!
I have to admit - raking rocks is a lot less maintenance than mowing the lawn. But you do end up with rocks in your shoes and dust everywhere!

The guys finally made it back from golfing and we grilled out with some delicious burgers and brats for dinner. Tommy was in his usual happy mood all evening. I figured he would sleep really good that night with all the running around he did. Not exactly.

It was a fun day, though exhausting, and it was so amazing to see how comfortable Tommy was with all of the dogs. When we first arrived, he was scared, but it was amazing to see how he seemed to have "command" of the situation by Saturday night. Just like he seems to with the people around him!
