Tommy, John, my mom and I took a weekend trip to Arizona to visit family and we arrived home on Monday morning via the red eye. While I'll post a few recaps of our trip later this week, for now, I'll share with you the aftermath of the red eye flight.

| Daggers shooting at Mommy from Tommy as we wait for Daddy and Pop-Pop to load the car |

| Hiding his face from Mommy because the daggers were not working |
 |
| While I'd prefer to NOT be showing my belly, and I should kill my husband for taking it before covering it up for me, this was how Tommy and I spent about three hours this afternoon on the couch |
 |
| I had no idea I slept with my arms like that...it's something that Tommy does, so now I know where he gets it from! |
We had a great time visiting with Aunt Denise (my mom's sister) and Uncle Mark, my cousin Evin and his girlfriend Christa, and John's cousin Dennis and his wife Kim. Tommy's favorite parts of the trip involved the four puppies (as he called them - they are 3, 5, 7 and 12 years old!) he played with all weekend. The photos are classic!
Tommy is officially a seasoned traveler, and did great on both flights. I was concerned since he hadn't flown since January, and these flights were over 4 hours long, and his 4 other times traveling were only on 2 hour flights. He was awake the entire flight out to Phoenix, but very well behaved, and thank goodness for the portable DVD player. I think Tommy might be over the particular videos we had on our trip because each time we popped in what he requested, he asked for something else. He fell asleep immediately after we landed though - so weird how he looked at me with wide eyes and they gradually closed. Would have been funny on the flip video. On the trip home, he did, in fact, sleep the entire way home, only waking when I had to pick him up to get off the plane. Not the best sleep, since technically he only slept about 4.5 hours, but he did nap on the drive to the airport, and then on the way home from the airport and then with me for about 3 hours in the early afternoon.
I have a ton of photos to go through, and will probably need to brake the recap of the trip up into a few parts, so stay tuned!
