Newlyweds & Squan Tavern

Remember the wedding for John's cousin that I posted about here? I was annoyed at myself because I think I only got one photo of the bride and groom together.  Well, they came to visit us while Oma and Aunt Ria were in town, so I made sure to get some pictures of them this time!  The newlyweds brought their dog, Muppet, whom Tommy LOVED!  Tails, not so much. He was eyeing the pooch all afternoon. Tux was smart and just hid in the closet the entire day.

When John's family comes to visit, we ALWAYS go to Squan Tavern in Manasquan for dinner at least one time. We tried going the week before but it was too long of a wait, which was not going to work with Tommy. We were lucky to squeeze this in on the last night that Oma and Ria were visiting, and Mia and Alex joined us. We ordered WAY too much food, but as always, it was delicious!

Whatever Mia is doing to Tommy had him laughing while we waited for our table

Tommy warmed up quickly to Alex and Mia, though I'm not so sure how they feel by the looks on their faces...maybe  that he's a bit of a crazy kid?

Much better...I think they all like each other!

Before we overdid it with the food

Daddy and Tommy sharing a laugh...love this picture!

Once again, the HAM is really coming out in this kid!

Mia, Tommy and Ria - he loves all this attention!
When we got home, Tommy had plenty of love to give to Aunt Ria and Oma, since they were going home the next morning to Illinois.  He once again HAPPILY posed and looked at the camera for most of the shots.

Aunt Ria and Tommy have some sort of private joke going on...

We are so lucky that we got to have Oma and Aunt Ria visit us.  We all wish we lived closer so we could see each other more often.  Oma is coming back for Tommy's birthday in September though, and now that we all have Skype we are planning to do more of that with Tommy.  Thank you Oma and Aunt Ria for coming to visit and helping around the house, and especially for babysitting Tommy so we could go to the wedding. We know Tommy loved spending the night with you as much as you probably did with him!
