Oma Meets Tommy's Bunny Friends, and What Happened to Get All of our Screens Re-Screened

After going through the almost 300 pictures taken while Oma visited, I hardly have any from the first few days.  She really was here.  I swear. I actually included the ONE photo she's in that was taken between Sunday and Thursday of her first week, just to prove we did not leave her on the side of the NJ Turnpike to fend for herself!

While it took a few days for Tommy to completely warm up to Oma, he really did have a lot of fun with her.  By the 2nd week John was picking him up from daycare mid afternoon after his nap so that he and Oma had some quality time together. And now that Oma and Aunt Ria are gone? When I ask him who we're going to see when we go home, he says Oma and Ria. So funny!

No idea how Tommy got the idea to eat the pear this way since I ALWAYS take the skin off and slice it into small pieces for him. But he's INSISTED on eating several pears like this recently at home!

New favorite toy - lawnmower bubble maker from Oma!

Look closely - it's Oma on the right side of the picture! And me testing out  the bike trailer I got on clearance at Target!

Not what I'd normally wear (from head to toe). Biking in flip flops is hard, and both Tommy and I have helmets to wear...we got his for $5 at a local consignment shop!

Off and running after 2 bunnies to try to show Oma

Somehow he's got 3 bunnies corralled into the backyard

Showing Oma how the pool works without water

Screen that Tails went through
Yes, that other part in the longest titled post ever.  How I finally am getting my screens re-screened after annoying John about doing something about them for the last 2 years.  Just left the front windows open one night on the first floor, and Tails ended up clawing his way through it to get to another cat that was outside!  He and the other cat must have gotten into a screaming fight because it woke John up and he found the screen looking like this when he went in the front living room.  He opened the front door and called for Tails, who came running right away.  He thinks he's all tough, you know, but that street cat must have showed him a thing or two.  Thus the reason Tux and Tails are indoor cats. Good kitty, however, understanding something drastic had to be done to get the screens taken care of!
